Many Muslim boys create fake Facebook accounts to marry Hindu girls: Himanta Biswa

Oct. 15: In a report published by ANI, Assam heavyweight minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma was quoted to state that many Muslim boys conceal their real identity and assuming Hindu names lure girls from Hindu families to marriage.

The minister stated, “Many Muslim boys create Facebook accounts with Hindu names & post pictures of themselves at temples. Once a girl gets married to one such boy, she discovers that he is not from the same religion. This is a not a bona fide marriage but a breach of trust: HB Sarma, Assam Minister.” He further stated that his government and party will fight against any such marriage which has been solemnised on the basis of fraud.
