Earthquake measuring 3.9 jolts Assam, no casualty reported

Oct. 3: An earthquake measuring 3.9 in the Richter scale jolted parts of Assam at 9.06 PM on Saturday. The earthquake had its epicentre at 44 kilometres West of Guwahati.. The quake lasted for around 32 seconds.

The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres and the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has marked this earthquake as ‘reviewed’ while confirming the coordinates 26.13 (latitude) and 91.22 (longitude). Till the filing of this report no damage of life and property was reported.
