DDMA, Cachar gives nod to ex gratia, rehabilitation proposals

Oct.1: A meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority gave the nod to 12 numbers of ex-gratia proposals along with various rehabilitation grant proposals related to disasters as proposed by Circle Officers of all the revenue circles here on Thursday.

Various developmental projects under SDRF proposed by line departments were also reviewed in the meeting.
Chairing the meeting at her conference hall, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman, DDMA, Keerthi Jalli directed all the line departments to take up the developmental projects which may have missed out earlier on priority basis.

MLA Silchar, Dilip Kumar Paul, MLA Udharbond, Mihir Kanti Shome, MLA Katigorah, Amarchand Jain, MLA Borkhola Kishor Nath and district heads of all line departments attended the meeting.
