2251 patients discharged in Assam on Sunday

Sept. 13: On Sunday, 2251 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,13,133 patients got cured and wer subsequently discharged from across the state. At present, there are 28,158 active cases in Assam. State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “2251 patients discharged today. Only 20% of the total positive patients are active now. Rest all have been discharged. Gratitude and best wishes to team doctors.”

Assam registered 1292 new COVID-19 positive cases on Sunday. With this, a total of 1,41,762 novel coronavirus patients were detected in Assam as of now. Sunday witnessed 16 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the death tally of the state has now gone upto 469.
