2197 patients discharged in Assam on Thursday

Sept. 10: On Thursday, 2197 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, 1,05,701 patients were discharged in the state as of now. At present, there are 29,687 active cases in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “2197 patients discharged today. More than 77% of total patients have been recovered in Assam. Thankful to medical team!”

Also, 2739 new positive cases were reported in Assam during the day. With this, the state tally has now gone upto 1,35,905. Further, the state registered once again 18 deaths due to COVID-19 during the day. With this, the death tally of the state has now gone upto 414.
