7 more die due to COVID-19 in Assam, death toll goes upto 330

September 3: The death toll in Assam due to novel coronavirus is continuing unabated. On Wednesday, 7 more persons died in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll of the state has now gone upto 330. This was confirmed in a tweet on Thursday night by State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma. The deceased were identified as:

• Lakhan Gowala (55) & Nirmala Gogoi (43) of Dibrugarh
• Romen Borthakur (54) of Sivasagar
• Bimala Nanda Das (80) & Jugal Kishore Das (34) of Kamrup Metro
• Priyanath Das (58) of Barpeta
• Kabita Barman (33) of Nalbari
