1434 patients discharged in Assam on Tuesday
September 1: On Tuesday, another 1434 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 86,892 patients were discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care Centres in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “1434 patients discharged today My best wishes to all the recovered patients & their families. Stay happy, healthy & blessed!”
Also, 2648 fresh cases of COVID-19 were registered in Assam during the day. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,11,725, out of which, 25,948 are active cases. During the day, Cachar district recorded 174 new cases of COVID-19. Further, nine more persons in the state succumbed to novel coronavirus during the day. With this, the death toll has now gone upto 315.
