Dept of Performing Arts, Assam University to organise 2-day national webinar on 17-18 August

August 12: The Dept of Performing Arts, Assam University is organising a two-day national webinar on understanding the tools and techniques of Vectorworks for designers on 17 and 18 August, 2020 from 11 AM onwards through zoom and C. The registered participant will be given directions to participate in the webinar.

Day 1: Introduction to Vectorworks Spotlight

Vectorworks Spotlight is ALL-IN-ONE-SOLUTION for your entire design needs. Whether you work in Lighting, Scenic, Film, Event or Exhibit Design, Vectorworks Spotlight is the only solution with the flexibility to support your entire design process all in the single user interface.

Day 2: Scenic and Set Design with Vectorworks

Learning Objectives.

  1. Understand How Vectorworks’ techniques will help for venue acquisition, collecting information and brainstorming.
  2.  Explore tools and techniques to model sophisticated shapes in 3D, model organic masses, represent materials and lighting effects.
  3. Learn how to create a design, and extract construction drawings from the model, Learn about drafting without duplicating the model with Viewports and Sheet Layers.
  4. Discover the potential of presentation features in Vectorworks, including Panoramas, Web view, and Vectorworks presentations, powered by Vectorworks Cloud Services.

Participation: The graduates, students of theatre arts/Performing Arts from any academic institute, freelance designers, architects, and visual artist can register here. The registered participants will be informed with further details. After attending all the session and feedback, submission e certificate will be provided.
