102 new COVID-19 +ve cases in Assam, state tally crosses 5000

June 19: On Friday night, 102 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from various districts of Assam. With this, the state tally has crossed the 5000-mark and reached 5006. However, out of this, only 1928 are active cases. Till now, 3066 patients got cured and were discharged. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “Numbers in the graphic tell the story of tireless work of our doctors and paramedic staff. Over 61% of the total patients are back home. The remaining shall soon go back. Our testing continues.”
