Saturday begins with 81 new cases in Assam, state tally rises to 2324
Active cases 1808 in Assam
June 6: On Saturday, the COVID-19 count in Assam started again with 81 new cases. With this, the state tally has gone upto 2324, out of which, 1808 are active cases. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma gave the district-wise break-up:

- 9 Dhemaji
- 7 Barpeta
- 7 Nagaon
- 4 Biswanath
- 4 Airport
- 3 Sonitpur
- 2 Karbi Anglong
- 2 Tinsukia
- 1 Morigaon
- 1 Dibrugarh
- 1 Lakhimpur
