31 Bangaladeshi nationals detained in Bengaluru, sent to Bengal for deportation

way2barak, Aug 31: Thirty-one Bangladeshi nationals detained by 10 different police stations in Bengaluru on Monday were sent back from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) to Malda Railway Station in West Bengal for deportation.
The police had booked AC coaches in advance for the journey. The train left SMVT on Monday, with the 31 detainees escorted by 20 police personnel. They are expected to reach Malda at around 5 pm on Tuesday.
Senior police officials who also reached the railway station have instructed the escort personnel to ensure the detainees reach their destination safely and take all necessary precautions to prevent any untoward incident during the journey.
