Blood Donation Awareness Drive Held at Cachar College

way2barak, Aug 26: Cachar College witnessed a blood donation awareness campaign today, organised jointly by the Red Ribbon Club, NCC and NSS units of the college in collaboration with the Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors Forum.

Sri Mohitosh Paul, General Secretary of the Forum, served as the resource person and addressed the gathering. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation, explaining its necessity and benefits, especially to young students. Volunteers from the Forum also engaged with student groups across the campus, spreading the message and motivating them to participate in the noble cause.

A digital brochure highlighting key aspects of blood donation was also circulated among the students on the occasion.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Apratim Nag, Principal of Cachar College, and was attended by a large number of students and faculty members, who appreciated the initiative.
