Bye election to Dholai : District offices to remain operational even on holidays
way2barak , October 18: In preparation for the upcoming Bye Election to the LA-11 Dholai (S/C) Constituency, 2024, the Office of the District Election Officer and District Commissioner, Cachar, has issued a significant order to ensure a seamless election process.
Mridul Yadav, District Election Officer and District Commissioner of Cachar, announced that all Heads of Offices within the district will be required to keep their offices operational with a skeleton staff, even on holidays. This directive is aimed at facilitating the smooth receipt and dispatch of urgent election-related Daks and letters during the election period.
The arrangement, effective immediately, seeks to streamline the administrative flow and prevent any delays in communication that could impact the election process. The Heads of Offices are further instructed to share their work arrangement orders, including the contact details of the officials designated to manage these tasks, with the District Election Office without delay.
This initiative underscores the district administration’s commitment to ensuring the efficient execution of the electoral process in Cachar, with a focus on transparency and timeliness.
