ASSAM RIFLES SEIZED MARIJUANA WORTH RS 19 LAKHS IN KARIMGANJ 

way2barak, January 25 : Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) seized 48 kg Marijuana worth Rs 19 Lakhs from Rongpur, under Ratabari PS, Karimganj District, Assam on 24 Jan 2023.

Based on the credible information, a joint operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion and Ratabari PS. The team seized 48 Kg Marijuana worth Rs. 19 Lakhs and apprehended one,  Altaf Hussain.

The individual alongwith seized Marijuana were handed over to Ratabari PS, Karimganj District, Assam for further investigation & legal proceedings.
