Drunk passenger urinates on woman in Air India flight; banned from flying for 30 days

way2barak, Jan.4: Centre’s aviation regulator DGCA on Wednesday said it has sought a report from Air India over the incident of a passenger urinating on a woman on a US-Delhi flight. The incident, which took place in November 2022, has been reported to the police by the airline. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have registered an FIR after a drunk man allegedly urinated on a woman passenger on an Air India flight, which was on its way to Delhi from the USA.

The drunk Air India passenger, who urinated on a woman co-passenger on an Air India flight in November, also exposed himself, she alleged. The woman in her 70s made the allegations in a letter she wrote to Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran over the incident.

The male passenger who urinated on a woman on a US-Delhi flight has been banned from flying with Air India for 30 days or until the decision of the internal committee, the airline said on Wednesday. If found guilty, action will be taken against him, Air India said.
