Autumn session of Assam Legislative Assembly to start from 12 September

Aug. 24: The autumn session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin from 12 September and will continue till 19 September. Earlier, the monsoon session of the Assembly which began on 18 July, ended four days ahead of its scheduled end date of 12 August. Prof Jagdish Mukhi, the Governor of Assam, summoned the autumn session.
