KPSS asks Kashmiri Pandits to leave the valley in the wake of increased attacks on them

Aug. 16: In the wake of increased attacks on the Kashmiri Pandits, the Kashmiri Pandit Sangarash Samiti (KPSS) asked the community to leave the Valley. This came in the wake of targeted killing of a Kashmiri Pandit farmer by militants in Shopian. The KPSS President said that Pandits have “only one option- to leave Kashmir or get killed by religiously fanatic minds”. He urged Kashmiri Pandits to move to safer places like Jammu and Delhi.

KPSS chief Sanjay Tickoo said, “We have seen this for the last 32 years now. The government has failed in providing security to the minorities, especially Kashmiri Pandits. How long are we going to die like this? Enough is enough.”
