Girls securing 1st div & boys with 1st div plus letter marks in HS to get scooty: CM Assam

July 19: Around Durga Puja this year, the female students who have secured 1st division marks in Higher Secondary Examination will be given scooty. Further, boys who have scored first division along with letter marks shall also be given scooty by the state government. This was announced on Tuesday by state Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma while addressing a public rally at Udalguri.

The Chief Minister further stated that on 6 August, 2022, those students who have secured 1st division marks along with star and letter(s) in HSLC Examination this year will be given an amount of Rs.16,000 instead of computers. In earlier years, such students who did meritorious result in HSLC were provided Laptops.
