Road closed: Restoration work of NH 53/37 at Labankhal, Jiribam Road going on

June 19: Restoration work of NH 53/37 at Labankhal, Jiribam Road is going on. Officials and staff of  PWD NH Division, Silchar is supervising the repairing work. The road is closed for now and will be restored by today evening. This was informed by District Administration, Cachar.

Meanwhile, due to rise in water level, L023-E & D Point Water works Road to Bagadahar via Bethukandi Road is closed for all types of vehicular traffic with immediate effect until further order.

In another notification, it was informed that due to overtopping of flood water on Silchar- Kumbhirgram Road (Gossaipur to Kumbhirgram) 2nd & 3rd Km will remain closed for all types of vehicular traffic with immediate effect until further order.
