Joining & counselling of teachers in secondary schools of Barak Valley postponed

May 17: Government of Assam in Education Department has extended the joining and counselling time for the selected teachers from Barak Valley, in view of the grim flood condition and natural calamities.

Issuing an order to this effect on 17 May, Director of Secondary Education stated, “In view of the destruction of communication network, the JOINING and COUNSELLING of candidates selected for Graduate Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher under Secondary Schools in Barak Valley and those candidates from Barak Valley to office of the Director of Secondary Education of Assam, which was scheduled to be held from 18th May, 2022, is hereby postponed till 25th May, 2022.”
