After individuals, cyber frauds hacks bank account of Dispur College, loots over ₹75 lakh

May 6: All these days, cyber criminals were known to be hacking the bank accounts of individuals and siphoning off money. However, recently, an incident came to light where a provincialised college in Assam was looted by cyber frauds.

As per reports, the bank account of Dispur College at Guwahati in Assam has been hacked by cyber criminals. It was alleged that the cyber frauds have stolen an amount of over Rs 75 lakh from the bank account of Dispur College. In the FIR lodged by the college authority at the Dispur Police Station, it was stated that the theft took place on 2 May. The bank account of the Dispur College is in a Bank of Baroda branch in Guwahati.
