MLA Dipayan Chakraborty holds review meeting to oversee development works in Silchar Civil Hospital

April 22: A review meeting was convened by Silchar MLA at SM Dev Civil Hospital wherein discussion was held on a gamut of subjects for its development. The meeting was attended by authorities of Silchar Civil Hospital, PHE Department, PWD Roads and PWD Building department. Discussion was primarily held to solve the various problems and expedite the work to resolve the issue of drinking water in Silchar Town.

During the review meeting, MLA Chakraborty discussed the issues of broken slab of under ground reservoir, inner road of Civil Hospital, transformer of the Hospital etc. Later on, the MLA informed that with the help of PWD (R), PWD (B), PHE and Municipality, the existing problems will be solved within 60 days. “Thanks to E.E. PWD (R & B), E.E. PHE, my nominees Sanjoy Roy, Nilu Choudhury, Hirok Choudhury and Mandal President, Santanu Roy for their concern,” stated MLA Silchar.

On Thursday too, Dipayan Chakraborty went to SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar to oversee the progress of construction of overhead reservoir under PHE Division I inside the hospital campus. He informed that the work of the three overhead reservoirs of Silchar Town will be completed very soon. During the visit he was accompanied by Mandal President, Santanu Roy, Vice President, Debasish Shome, Amitesh Chakraborty, President BJYM, and other party functionaries.
