DC Cachar issues 9-point guidelines including door to door vaccination for Covid-free Cachar

Special Covid vaccination drive in Cachar from 21 to 31 March

March 18: A 9-point guidelines was issued by Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson of District Health Society Cachar, Keerthi Jalli on 17 March in order to conduct special Covid-19 vaccination campaign with a view to achieve the target of “Covid-free Cachar, Safe Cachar.” It is in this connection that a special Covid vaccination drive will be undertaken in Cachar district from 21 March to 31 March, 2022.

The nine points highlighted by the Deputy Commissioner in this connection are:

1. Preparation of due beneficiaries list (CVC wise) within 20 March, 2022 with the help of Data Entry Operators and share the list to ASHA workers for identification & mobilization. Responsibility: Incharge Health Block (Urban /Rural), BPMU, DUHC.

2. Involve PRI members to identify and also to mobilize the due beneficiaries. Responsibility: All Sectoral Medical Officers, BCM, ASHA Supervisors.

3. COVID Vaccination team comprising of ANM, ASHA, AWW to visit house to house (h-t-h) to vaccinate due beneficiary & also to ensure that 100% updating in the CoWin portal on daily basis. Responsibility: Incharge Health Block (Urban/Rural), BPMU, DUHC.

4. Submission of CVC wise team deployment for COVID Vaccination within 19/03/2022. Responsibility: BPM, DUHC.

5. ICDS Department to be involved for COVID Vaccination. Responsibility: DSWO, Cachar.

6. Sectoral Medical Officer to be involved for monitoring of CVC as well as house to house (h-t-h) to vaccination drive. Responsibility: Incharge Health Block (Urban/ Rural).

7. Religious Leaders, Community Leaders to be involved to mobilize the reluctant people. Responsibility: Incharge Health Block (Urban/ Rural).

8. In Silchar Urban, Mahila Aarogya Samitis to be involved to ensure mobilization — DUHC to coordinate with all MAS within 21/03/2022. Responsibility: DUHC, NUHM, Cachar.

9. SDM&HO i/c BPHC & M&HO-I i/c Silchar Urban will have to furnish a certificate on 31/03/2022 regarding completion of vaccination Campaign mentioning the number of due / overdue beneficiaries under their jurisdiction. Responsibility: SDM & HO i/c Covid Vaccination, Cachar.
