1 in ventilator, 3 in oxygen support out of 13 active cases at SMCH on Wednesday

Dec 29: The Covid-19 cases at SMCH has suddenly increased at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) on Wednesday. However, the last 24 hours (5 PM on 28 December to 5 PM on 29 December) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at SMCH. This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Wednesday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 29 December, there were 13 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support, and 03 are in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 03 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and none was discharged.
