Covid vaccines to be administered at 15 centres in Silchar on 10 & 11 December

Dec. 9:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Thursday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 14 centres in Silchar on Friday & Saturday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 3,000 doses of Covishield and 200 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 10 & 11 December in Silchar town.

Covishield will be provided at 14 centres in Silchar town. In all these 14 centres, both 1st dose and 2nd dose  will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. These 13 centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar
• Sanjivani (104) office, opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road
• Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty
• TT College, Hailakandi Road
• Abhaya Charan Patshala
• Radharaman School, Malugram
• BC Roy School, Rongpur
• Lalita Das Balika Vidyalaya, Bilpar
• Jagriti Club, Kanakpur Road
• Cachar High School, Malugram
• Sishu Mandir School, Malinibeel
• Sanjoy Gandhi LP School, Kalibarichar
• Sarbodoy LP School, Saratpally
• Surja Kumar High School, Tarapur

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjivani (104) office, opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 10 & 11 December.
