1 patient on ventilator, 2 on oxygen support out of 10 active patients at SMCH on Thursday

Dec 9: The Covid-19 situation in Cachar is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 8 December to 5 PM on 9 December) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Thursday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 9 December, there were 10 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support, and 02 were in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 01 Covid positive patient was admitted at SMCH and 01 of them was discharged.
