134 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 158 discharged & no death registered

Dec 8: On Wednesday, out of 16,000 tests, 134 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,18,042. The positivity rate in the state is 0.41 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 77 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,120. The recovery rate is 98.60 percent. Also, 158 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,194 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 150 persons tested positive in Assam and 1 death was registered.
