10 passengers went missing after arriving from South Africa to India

Dec. 3: Amid the threat of Omicron variant of Covid-19, 10 international travellers who arrived from South Africa were reported ‘untraceable’ in Bengaluru. This was stated by Karnataka Revenue Minister R. Ashoka. Health officials further stated that these foreigners could not be traced at addresses given by them at the airport and they have switched their phones off. Karnataka Health Minister said, “We will soon trace and track & test them. Till now, two cases of Omicron variant were detected in Karnataka.
