None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Tuesday

Nov. 2: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Tuesday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 06 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 424 RAT tests and 50 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,914 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,481 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 02 were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,384 persons were vaccinated on Tuesday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Tuesday. The district has currently 10 active COVID cases, while 01 patient was discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Tuesday. 488 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that none were detected positive in Karimganj on Monday.
