1 found Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Wednesday, none discharged

Sept. 8: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday, Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 13 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 662 RAT tests and 81 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,880 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,444 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 01 person was found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 2,344 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
