Covishield at 5 centres & Covaxin at 2 centres to be given in Silchar on 21 August

Aug 20: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Friday stated that both online and on-spot vaccination session for those above 18 years of age will take place at five centres in Silchar on Saturday, where both Covaxin and Covishield will be provided.

The vaccination centres are:

1. Nazirpatty Model School: Only 2nd dose Covishield vaccine will be provided on the basis of on-spot  booking.
2. Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty: Only 2nd dose Covishield vaccine will be provided on the basis of on-spot booking.
3. Abhya Charan Patshala, Sadarghat, Silchar: Senior citizens will be provided Covishield on the basis of on-spot registration.
4. Urban PHC, Trunk Road : 2nd dose Covishield & Covaxin vaccine will be provided on the basis of on-spot booking.
5. Junior Basic School, Ghoniwala: 2nd dose Covishield & Covaxin vaccine will be provided on the basis of on-spot booking.
