7 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 5 discharged

July 27: Hailakandi registered only 7 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Of the 7 positive cases detected on Tuesday, all of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 71 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,493 RAT tests and 218 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,767 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,272 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 06 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date 49 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 774 persons were vaccinated in Hailakandi .
