2,046 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 22 deaths registered

July 14: On Wednesday, out of 1,32,557 tests, 2,046 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,40,453. The positivity rate in the state is 1.54 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 207 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 22 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 4,910. The recovery rate is 95.21 percent.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 2,169 persons tested positive in Assam and 23 deaths were registered.
