With 06 more Covid +ve cases, day’s total in Cachar rises to 37 on 13 July

Active cases 374 in Cachar; 63 discharged on Tuesday

July 13: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Tuesday at 11 PM. As per the latest data, 06 more persons were detected as Coronavirus positive during the day. With this, a total of 37 persons were found positive in the district on 13 July. Earlier, at 6 PM, it was informed that 31 persons were found positive. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has reached 374. This was informed by District Media Expert on Tuesday night. Also, 63 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that on Monday, 78 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar.

Further, on Tuesday, a total of 304 beneficiaries were administered Covid vaccine in Cachar district.

As per the updated data, a total of 2,764 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 31 persons were found positive, whereas 06 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. With this, the total number of Covid cases since 1 April, 2021 reached 18,318, whereas during this phase, 17,771 patients were discharged.

Apart from this, the district authority informed that out of the 374 active patients:

94 of them are admitted at SMCH
11 at MH
43 at SM Dev Civil Hospital
16 at Green Heals Pvt Hospital
06 at CRPF Doyapur
00 at Gracewell Nursing Home
00 at Cachar Cancer Hospital
00 at Valley Hospital
00 at South City Hospital
08 at Chibitabichia Model Hospital
06 at Jivan Jyoti Hospital
13 at Chotodudpatil Model Hospital
36 Palonghat Model Hospital
141 patients are in home isolation.

The Covid-19 situation in gradually is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 12 July to 5 PM on 13 July) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Tuesday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 13 July, there were 93 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College, out of which 56 patients were there in the ICU, whereas, 37 of them were in the Covid ward. Further, 13 patients were put under ventilator support and 69 of them were in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 12 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 13 of them were discharged.
