Minister Parimal Suklabaidya distributes Fish Inputs under APART in Irongmara.
July 17: In order to increase the agricultural efficiency of the rural Fish farmers, Assam Fisheries, Excise, Forest & Environment Minister Parimal Suklabaidya took part in the ceremonial inputs Distribution under Assam Agri Business and Rural Transformation Project (APART), a world bank funded project for the year 2019-20 earlier on Wednesday in his own Dholai Constituency’s under Irongmara Gaon Panchayat at Rabindra Pathkar.
During the Distribution Ceremony, Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli joined with district officials, West Dholai ZPC Lakshmi Rani Yadav and local GP representatives and social workers of the area. Reportedly, it was the second installment of pisciculture inputs which were distributed among the beneficiaries of various Farmer Producers Group by the Minister Parimal Suklabaidya and the Deputy Commissioner.
Speaking during the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Cachar Keerthi Jalli said, “Farmers should lay more emphasis for doubling the fish production by utilizing the inputs provided by the department to maximize the production and uplift their economic status. For enhancing the production of fish, necessary technical support could be sought from experts of the Department of Fisheries.”
