83 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Saturday, 144 discharged

May 22: Hailakandi registered 83 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Of the 83 positive cases detected on Saturday, 80 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 03 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 753 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,793 RAT tests and 275 RT-PCR tests were done. 144 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 117 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 5,175.

As of now, in the 18 plus category, 9,822 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine. In the 45 plus category, 48,827 have received the 1st dose of the vaccine, whereas, 15,304 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
