143 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 196 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec 3: On Friday, out of 29,668 tests, 143 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,17,306. The positivity rate in the state is 0.48 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 61 positive cases during the day. Further, on Friday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,113. The recovery rate is 98.61 percent. Also,196 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,133 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 124 persons tested positive in Assam and 3 deaths were registered.
