21 personalities chosen for Assam State Civilian Awards 2022; Dr Tapan Saikai gets Assam Baibhav

way2barak, Jan.4: As a recognition of their commendable service to the society, the state government has announced names of 21 personalities chosen for the Assam State Civilian Awards 2022. Expressing delight, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Congratulations winners! Your dedication towards Assam’s progress will serve as an inspiration for all.”

This year (2022), the highest civilian award of Assam Baibhav has been conferred upon Dr Tapan Saikai- Oncologist. Apart from this, 5 persons were selected for Assam Saurav and 15 were chosen for the award Assam Gaurav.
