25 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Tuesday, 1 death registered & 115 active cases in the district

July 19: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Tuesday. As per the latest data, 08 persons (03 RT-PCR & 22 RAT) were found positive in the district on 19 July, 2022. All positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation & none took admission in hospitals. 32 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 133 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 22 persons were found positive, whereas 02 were detected positive out of 10 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 115. NHM Assam in its daily Covid update informed that on Tuesday, 3 persons died in the state, including 01 from Cachar district. However, the details of the deceased was not mentioned. It needs mention here that on Monday, 08 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar district.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 192 positive cases were detected and 78 were discharged in the district of Cachar. None has died during this phase.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
