66 found Covid +ve in Assam, 453 discharged & 5 deaths registered on Tuesday

Feb. 15: On Tuesday, out of 10,583 tests, only 66 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,23,759. The positivity rate in the state is 0.62 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 18 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, 05 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,615. The recovery rate is 98.64 percent. Also, 453 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 1,900 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 198 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
