1085 patients discharged in Assam on Saturday

August 1: On Saturday, 1085 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, a total of 31,442 persons were discharged from Assam as of now. Saturday further registered 3 more deaths, thereby taking the death tally to 101. Also, another 1457 persons were infected in Assam on Saturday. As of now, there are 10,180 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “”1085 patients have been discharged today. Heartening to see that the number of recovered patients is thrice to that of active patients. Kudos, team doctors!”
