3-day Sports Meet begins at Lalit Jain Commerce College

March 28: Lalit Jain Commerce College, Silchar, a premier higher educational institute of the valley has started its Annual Sports Fest, 2019 on 27 March. The Sports Meet will continue till 30 March.

On Wednesday, the event was inaugurated by Amarnath Singh, Principal of the college in the presence of the staff and students. In his brief speech, Principal Singh highlighted the importance of games and sports. He said, “Our College is committees to the all-round development of the personality of the students. Along with studies, students should also inculcate the habit of sportsman spirit.

Different sports are on the cards for the students during the 3-day sports meet. There will be a number of indoor and outdoor games. The teachers were also found to be very enthusiastic about the sports fest and were found to be actively involved in guiding the students. they expressed the view that the all round development of the students along with academic excellence is the objective of the college.
