2432 patients discharged in Assam on Thursday
Sept. 24: On Thursday, 2432 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,35,141 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged across the state. At present, there are 29,830 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Delighted to share that 2432 patients have been discharged today I request people to take all necessary precautions & stay hopeful.”
On Thursday, a total of 28,993 tests were done in the state, out of which, 2,091 were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus has now gone upto 1,65,582. Further, during the day, another 11 persons died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 608.
