192 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 101 discharged & no deaths registered

Dec. 31: On Friday, out of 24,817 tests, 192 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,20,765. The positivity rate in the state is 0.77 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 105 positive cases during the day. Further, on Friday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,164. The recovery rate is 98.65 percent. Also, 101 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 871 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 101 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
