1 dies at SMCH on Monday

Sept.14: Monday registered another death at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). The deceased was identified as Indrajit Das (62) from Karimganj. As per sources, he was admitted at SMCH after detected COVID-19 positive. He, however, breathed his last at 2.20 PM on Monday. His details were forwarded to State Death Audit Board. On Monday night, 13 deaths in the state were declared to have died from COVID-19 by the Audit Board. However, none from Barak Valley featured in that list.
