1586 patients discharged in Assam on Tuesday
Oct. 6: On Tuesday, 1586 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,55,074 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. At present, there are 33,047 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1586 patients discharged today I wish all recovered patients a happy and healthy life ahead. Take care of your families and keep taking precautions.”
On Tuesday, 1184 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,88,902. During the day, 31,780 tests were done in Assam. Moreover, during the day, another 18 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 778.
