11 tests +ve in Cachar on Wednesday, tally reaches 11,334

Dec. 29:  On Wednesday, a total of 11 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1439 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 09 persons were found positive, whereas 02 of them was detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Wednesday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,334.  Further, a total of 11,224 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 72 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 06 persons were found positive in Cachar on Tuesday.
