Maoist attack at Chhatisgarh, 5 dead including 2 jawans

৮ নভেম্বরঃ প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নির্বাচনী জনসভার ২৪ ঘণ্টা আগে ছত্তিশগড়ের দান্তেয়াড়ায় ফের মাওবাদীরা হানা দিল। মিনিবাসে আইইডি বিস্ফোরণ ঘটিয়ে হত্যা করল ৫ জনকে। তাঁদের মধ্যে ২ জন সিআইএসএফ জওয়ান। অন্যরা হলেন বাসের চালক, কন্ডাক্টর ও খালাসি। ভোটের জন্য ভাড়া করা বাসটিতে সাতজন জওয়ান ছিলেন। তাঁরা বাজার থেকে সবজি কিনে ক্যাম্পে ফিরছিলেন। অন্য পাঁচজন জখম হয়েছেন। তাদের কাছাকাছি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, দূর নিয়ন্ত্রক যন্ত্রের সাহায্যে এই বিস্ফোরণ ঘটানো হয়েছে।  দুষ্কৃতীদের ধরতে সব ধরনের চেষ্টা চলছে।

গত দুই সপ্তাহে এটি তৃতীয় বড় ধরনের মাও-অভিযান।

November 8: Just 24 hours ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s electoral meeting, the Maoists carried on a massive attack at Dantewara in Chhatisgarh. Five persons including 2 army jawans were killed in the IED blast which took place inside a mini bus. The 5 killed includes 2 CISF soldiers, the bus driver, conductor and helper. They were returning to the camp after purchasing vegetables. Five more persons were also injured in the said attack. The injured have been admitted in the nearby hospital. Police has confirmed that the blast was made with the help of a remote controlled device. Police and special forces have started a massive operation to nab the terrorists.

In last two weeks, this is the third major attack carried on by the Maoists.
