A student of M.Sc Physics in Assam invents bicycle that runs on petrol

November 2: In an era of innovation, the youth are perhaps the harbingers of change. There is no dearth of talent in every part of India. A student of Assam is the latest one to add his credentials in the list of innovation.

A student of Dibrugarh University, Guninda Krishna Mahanta who is pursuing his Masters’ degree in Physics has developed a bicycle which runs on fuel. The bicycle which he designed has an 80 CC 2-stroke engine and gives a mileage of 26 kilometres per litre of petrol. Guninda, a resident of Majuli spent an amount of around Rs. 21,000 for designing this bicycle. As per reports, it took around 15 days to make this unique bicycle that runs on petrol.
