66 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 112 discharged

June 8: Hailakandi registered 66 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Of the 66 positive cases detected on Tuesday, 58 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 08 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 1,205 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 2,271 RAT tests and 305 RT-PCR tests were done. 112 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 6,880 As of now, a total of 2,271 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 75 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday.

As of now, in the 57,788 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 16,829 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
